Henry and the Crayon Spaceship

It is bedtime, but Henry has one more thing to draw. A spaceship! Red, silver and blue. Then the crayon does something magical, and Henry and his pug Cecil are off, past the Sun, around the planets and out to the quiet Milky Way, before it is time to come home to bed.

Henry and the Magic Crayon: Under the Sea

Henry cannot sleep. His head is full of sea. So he draws a fine submarine, with a periscope too, and the magic crayon does the rest. Down they dive, Henry and Cecil, past a coral reef, a shimmering shoal, a wise old turtle, leaping dolphins, a colour-changing octopus, a friendly shark, glowing jellyfish, a sunken ship with a golden bone, the deep dark, and the biggest, gentlest whale of all, before floating home on moonbeams to bed.

Henry and the Magic Crayon: On Safari

Henry cannot sleep. His head is full of manes and stripes and trumpets. So he draws a fine safari jeep with the roof folded down, and the magic crayon does the rest. Off they bounce, Henry and Cecil, across a golden plain to meet a dazzle of zebras, a gentle giraffe, cheeky monkeys, yawning hippos, a watchful lion, dreaming flamingos, a family of meerkats, a storm full of fireflies and the humming elephants, before the stars come out and it is time for bed.

Henry's sketchbook has more pages. Each new adventure adds one drawing to his room, one hero song, a few launch activities and new passport stamps, wherever the magic crayon takes him next.
